Enjoy Yoyogi Park cherry blossoms with this vegan picnic!

ANANAS COFFEE TOKYO, a vegan cafe with a concept of “a place where everyone is accepted and recognized,” have started to accepting reservations for a “Plant-based Picnic Plan” that users can enjoy without preparing anything beforehand. It is the first plan of its kind in Yoyogi Park ahead of the cherry blossom season.

The “Plant-based Picnic Plan where you don’t need to prepare anything” is a picnic menu that includes healthy and plant-based food and drinks in a cute basket. The plan includes the rental of leisure sheets, cutlery, mugs, plates, and more. Customers can also add additional options such as a badminton set, flowers, instant cameras, and more for a more Instagrammable experience. We offer a hand-free picnic plan that is rich, satisfying, and enjoyable in Yoyogi Park, where nature spreads out so much that you can forget you are in the city.

This picnic plan is for those who have thoughts like, “I want to try a cute picnic I saw on SNS, but it seems difficult to prepare…but I want to try it too!” It is a picnic plan that embodies the owner’s desire for customers to enjoy “stylish picnic” and “vegan” easily and without any preparation. In response to customer requests such as “there are many disposable leisure sheets and picnic goods thrown away in Yoyogi Park’s trash cans” and “I want to enjoy leisure while considering the environment more,” we included a set of basket and sheets, and used enamel and 100% recyclable wine glasses to reduce disposable items.

The picnic box includes a vegan open sandwich made with two slices of 365 Days vegan bread and two different types of open sandwich ingredients, as well as vegan scrambled eggs, plant-based sausages, and a jar salad. A pot of coffee is also included, with the option to switch to two Botanical sodas for an additional fee. Additionally, a picnic basket, waterproof picnic sheet, cutlery, enamel mug, and enamel dish plate are provided for a stress-free and enjoyable picnic experience. Additional options are also available, like instant camera and cushion rentals.

Amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, people are seeking fulfilling experiences, and a company is offering carefully prepared picnic plans to help fulfill that demand. Meanwhile, the increasing popularity of veganism has not yet led to enough options for vegans and vegetarians, and the company offers support for people who seek a stress-free and enjoyable meal that accommodates religious, ethical, and health considerations. Lastly, a store owner from the Shibuya area collaborated with local stores to create an open-sandwich using rye bread from a popular bakery and dried flowers from a famous florist, hoping to attract more visitors to the area.
