The global climate march is a global event organized by Fridays for Future youths around the world. The multiple climate marches over the past few years has pressured multiple political stakeholders to move for climate justice and implement science-based climate policies.

With Japan’s main march to be held in Tokyo, Sapporo, Sendai, Saitama, Tokyo, Yamanashi, Nagoya, Kyoto and Fukuoka will conduct regional marches too. There will be other events including online talks and standing demonstrations all across Japan.

The schedule of the climate march in Tokyo will be as follows:
・ 14:30 Gather at United Nations University Square
・ 15:00 Organizer’s Opening Speech
・ 15:30 March begins (start and goal at United Nations University Square)
・ 18:00 End of events and disperse from United Nations University

Note that there will also be a social network posting on social networks, particularly on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook with the hashtag #気候危機はいのちの問題 (meaning “Climate Crisis is a matter of life and death.”)

For those interested, you can find more on their website. See you there!
