The Ethical Spirits & Co, a distillery venture that produces craft gin using waste materials and operates a regenerative distillery, with the motto of “realizing a circular economy through distillation platform,” was selected as a finalist for “Sustainable Distillery of the Year” in the “Icons of Gin” category at the international gin competition “World Gin Awards 2023,” which received over 1,100 gin brands from 64 countries around the world. The competition evaluates people, places, brands, and initiatives in the gin industry. The company was “Highly Commended” for its efforts.

The World Gin Awards, a gin competition that is held once a year in the UK and has over 1,100 gin brands from 64 countries around the world, is an international gin competition. It was held in London in February and was an offline award ceremony for the first time in three years. The competition evaluates each category, such as “Best Flavored Gin,” through blind tastings by experts, and selects “Gold,” “Silver,” and “Bronze” winners, as well as “Country Winners” by country.

In addition, the “Icons of Gin” is also recognized at the competition, which spotlights people, products, and places in the gin industry from ambassadors to distilleries, business owners, and hotel bars worldwide.
