BugMo Co. Ltd. is working towards solving food and environmental problems by offering an “upcycle development package” for businesses looking to make use of their solutions. With their expertise in edible cricket farming and manufacturing, they will conduct demonstration experiments and develop pilot versions to address specific issues faced by each company.
Through analysis, they are collaborating with various companies to improve the already highly fertile reproductive rate of crickets to ensure sustainable nutrition and to tackle global issues. They are continually experimenting to improve the cricket farming environment and encourage more people to participate in building a new supply chain that uses crickets. They are also able to create evaluation reports and provide extracted materials necessary for commercialization.
By taking advantage of the omnivorous characteristics of crickets, BugMo can use the residue as food or new material by intermediating crickets. Their “upcycling development package” encourages participation to create added value along the supply chain while addressing societal issues and discovering new demand.
BugMo aims to reaffirm the new value created by customers and to develop initiatives for new business development, starting with their upcycle construction.
