Tottori Prefecture is hosting GX.FES.2023, a festival celebrating renewable energy, on November 26 at the Sakai Yume Minato Terminal.
The event aims to increase awareness and encourage the adoption of renewable energy sources among local residents. The name “GX” stands for Green Transformation, a movement seeking to shift society from fossil fuels to clean energy such as solar and wind power.
Festival-goers will enjoy a range of activities powered by CO2 emission-free electricity generated from renewable energy. The lineup includes live performances by local AKB48 performers, comedy stages featuring Machine Guns, a team e-sports tournament, a TeamLab camera experience, and a kids’ EV car experience.
The event will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
