Gateway to Sustainability in Japan

Sustainable crafts and food waste solutions at JR Kyoto Isetan

JR Kyoto Isetan, a department store directly connected to Kyoto Station, will host the “think good” sustainability event from 8 to 12 April. The exhibition highlights sustainable initiatives rooted in local culture and harmony with nature. The aim is to provide hints for a sustainable future through daily lifestyle choices by highlighting young farmers and successors of long-established companies.

The “think good” project is the sustainability slogan of the Mitsukoshi Isetan Group. At the Kyoto location, it focuses on environmental conservation, respecting diverse values, and co-creating with the local community to preserve traditional culture.
