Zenbird Editorial TeamFashion designer Eiko Sugai has designed a tanzen (a top worn over yukata) with sustainable materials. The tanzen is made using Japanese paper denim, with a strong focus on how it can be “returned to the soil” without becoming waste. Along with this, she has also designed a yukata with a “digital arabesque” design, a pattern that represents the overlap between human and nature as we search for sustainability.
The tanzen and yukata are available customers at Hatoya Zuihokaku Hot Springs in Kyoto.
