SATANAMA Lab has launched a new service to produce custom corporate novelty goods from used yoga mats. The service will provide businesses and organisations with a tangible way to demonstrate their commitment to sustainability.
SATANAMA Lab has identified that there is an increasing need for companies and municipalities increasingly seek methods to communicate their sustainability efforts. Their new service would help the companies address this need by transforming a waste stream into a branding tool. The upcycled products can be engraved with original logos or names, serving as unique gifts for customers and staff that reflect a company’s sustainable values.
The initial product lineup includes trays and keychains. The trays, measuring 180mm by 140mm by 35mm, are suitable for use as desk organisers, retail cash trays or display fixtures. The keychains, sized at 35mm by 65mm, are designed for event giveaways, visitor gifts and commemorative items. And because the products are upcycled, each item is handmade from different used mats, they feature unique variations in colour, texture and pattern, ensuring no two pieces are identical.

The project already produces other upcycled items from yoga mats, including multi-purpose pots, baskets and clips. The brand aims to continue spreading the culture of upcycling.
