SONNENGLAS, known for their solar LED lanterns, has teamed up with LOSS FLOWER by RIN, a company specializing in upcycling discarded flowers, to introduce a unique decoration item called “MEGURU.” This innovative product features dried flowers made from blooms that were destined for disposal, offering a sustainable and eco-friendly approach to home decor.
RIN’s upcycling process gives new life to flowers that have served their purpose at flower shops and wedding venues, ensuring that every vibrant petal is cherished. MEGURU, a dried flower decoration specifically designed for SONNENGLAS jars, allows these repurposed flowers to continue shining in a beautiful display.
The collaboration between RIN and SONNENGLAS, a fair-trade product produced in South Africa that creates employment, reflects a shared commitment to a circular, sustainable society. Customers can incorporate sustainability into their lifestyle while enjoying the colorful flowers of RIN and the gentle light emitted by SONNENGLAS lanterns. In addition, SONNENGLAS takes environmental responsibility seriously, using solar energy to power its lanterns and ensuring that all metal and bottle parts are recyclable.
The MEGURU decoration set is available for sale with SONNENGLAS Classic at 10,580 yen (tax included) and SONNENGLAS Mini at 9,680 yen (tax included) through their official website.
