MiYO ORGANIC brings sustainable bamboo amenities to Sheraton Grand Hiroshima

Sheraton Grand Hiroshima Hotel introduced MiYO ORGANIC’s range of eco-friendly guest room amenities in their facility. The hotel replaced conventional plastic items with products made from renewable bamboo and recycled paper.

The new amenities include MiYO ORGANIC toothbrushes and hair combs crafted from bamboo, a rapidly renewable resource. These items are housed in packaging made from FSC-certified paper. The design focuses on the natural texture of the materials and functional beauty, intended to provide comfort without the environmental cost of single-use plastics.

MiYO ORGANIC, the provider of these amenities, is a B Corp certified brand that specialises in circular product design. The company received a Good Design Award in 2022 for its efforts to harmonise luxury with sustainability. To date, MiYO ORGANIC has sold more than 2.5 million units, which has resulted in the reduction of over 25 tonnes of plastic waste.
