Kamikagu demonstrating cardboard furniture can have style

The term “paper furniture” may sound like a description of flimsy furniture, but the new cardboard furniture ideas from Kamikagu Co. Ltd. are anything but that. It was only last month when we also looked at the possibilities of cardboard, and Kamikagu is demonstrating style in cardboard furniture.

In its first series it has opened for sale, Kamikagu has developed Magic Box, which contains sets of modular cardboard parts that can be fitted to form different types of furniture. At the moment, it comes in three different sets: television counter, children’s desk, and three-shelf rack. Additional units can be bought separately.

We may not be familiar with the strength of cardboard material, especially when we think about sitting on them or placing our expensive television on cardboard furniture. However, tests on Kamikagu’s furniture have shown that it can hold up to 1.2 tons of weight! Users who have purchased Magic Box have also given good reviews.

Magic Box is available for purchase on Kamikagu’s online store.
