Zenbird collaborates with English Hub to teach SDGs through English

English Hub and Zenbird are collaborating to create English resources while offering an opportunity to learn about SDGs. This would provide extra learning materials for Japanese students who are learning English while learning various topics, such as climate change and circular economy.

English Hub is a media that supports working adults by providing school recommendations, learning materials and studying methods related to learning English. It shares the latest news and classes, lists events and seminars English students can attend, and shares the newest technology and app tools to learn English. However, English Hub wants to do more for its readers.

With the recent trending interest concepts of Sustainable Development Goals, English Hub wants to contribute too. The interest in social responsibility has increased as the Japanese used the coronavirus pandemic as an opportunity to reexamine their relationship with nature. English Hub wants to support their readers in their self-discovery, and is collaborating with Zenbird Media to provide the relevant SDGs content.

English Hub and Zenbird will be producing periodic content on English Hub’s website and YouTube Channel. The first few materials will be about climate change, including greenhouse gases, fossil fuels and biodiversity. Each will be accompanied by a video, serving as an alternative, especially to capture pronunciations by a native English speaker.

The SDGs Compendium series will also pick up a few vocabularies for revision. This is in true English Hub style, ensuring the usefulness of their content so their Japanese readers will learn new words effortlessly. English Hub also hopes the content will give its Japanese readers confidence to converse about social and environmental issues with other English speakers.

The SDGs Compendium is the first of many collaborations with English Hub, and both English Hub and Zenbird are looking forward to creating more helpful content for their readers.
