Tokyu Group’s Shibuya SDGs STREET aims for sustainability awareness

Tokyu Group has introduced “Shibuya SDGs STREET,” a project designed to increase awareness and hands-on engagement with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the Greater Shibuya Area. Launching with a dedicated website on February 14, the first initiative, the “SDGs Action Challenge,” will take place from March 3 to April 6. This digital stamp rally encourages ethical consumption and SDGs-related activities.

By fostering partnerships across governmental bodies, businesses, and social organizations, the project seeks to turn Shibuya into a hub for SDGs engagement. Visitors, whether for work or leisure, will have the opportunity to learn about SDGs and incorporate them into their daily lives.

The first campaign allows participants to collect digital stamps by making eco-friendly purchases, utilizing sharing services, attending SDGs events, or visiting designated locations. Stamps collected will qualify participants for a prize lottery featuring SDGs-related rewards.

This project brings together companies and organizations active in Shibuya, including Tokyu Group, to promote SDGs-related actions like ethical consumption. The dedicated website will serve as a platform for sharing existing initiatives and launching new collaborations with SDGs-focused entities.

It will kick off with the Digital Stamp Rally from March 3 (Monday) to April 6 (Sunday). Participants can earn stamps by purchasing designated products, using specific services, or attending events in the Greater Shibuya Area. By collecting a certain number of stamps, they become eligible for a prize lottery featuring 150 SDGs-themed rewards. To join, participants must follow the official “Shibuya SDGs STREET” LINE account, accumulate stamps by scanning QR codes, uploading receipts, or answering quizzes correctly, and then redeem their stamps for a chance to win prizes.
