Tokyu Hotels & Resorts Co., Ltd. will launch a new hotel brand, The HOTEL Well-hub Haneda, come 6 July, which rebrands the existing Kawasaki King Skyfront Tokyu REI Hotel into an experience-designed property.

The new brand will adopt a base camp concept for Japanese experiences, and plans to target a growing segment of wealthy international travellers who seek a deep understanding of Japan through physical activity and cultural immersion.
The facility focuses on nature and sports tourism by utilising the Tama River waterfront for running and yoga. It also offers curated tours that combine traditional Japanese sports, such as karate, with cycling and surfing in the Shonan and Kamakura areas. These activities aim to connect guests with the local environment and regional traditions.
The room rate will cover breakfast as well as various on-site experiences. Guests have access to morning exercise programmes, including yoga and karate, and evening entertainment such as DJ sets and live music events. This structure ensures that the stay itself constitutes a primary part of the travel experience.
The architectural design maintains a warehouse motif, creating a space for cultural exchange. The interior features analogue records and artwork by domestic and international artists to provide guests with cultural stimulation.
The hotel includes 186 rooms, a restaurant, a cafe, a large public bath, and an activity counter to facilitate guest engagement with local and regional experiences. Located in Kawasaki City near Haneda Airport, the hotel will serve as a gateway for international travellers to engage with Japanese nature, sports, and culture.
