Tokyo Tatemono Co., Ltd. will hold its third “Mori no Ichi” (Forest Market) event at Otemachi Tower from 19 to 21 November 2025, introducing the “Shinkokyu BAR” (Forest Breathing BAR), a concept designed to offer a moment of respite for busy professionals in the heart of the city’s business district.
The event will feature a pop-up bar counter within the Otemachi Forest, a 3,600-square-metre green space at the base of the tower. The bar aims to provide a special space where visitors can connect with themselves and nature. It will serve original cocktails with flavour profiles inspired by the plants found within the urban forest. The event is an opportunity to take a break from the city’s noise and experience a moment of “forest breathing.”
The Mori no Ichi event series is designed to leverage its unique location. The Otemachi Forest is a genuine forest ecosystem cultivated over the last 12 years. It serves as a symbol of urban regeneration and co-existence with nature. The forest is home to 208 plant species, 129 insect species and 13 bird species, including some on the Red List of threatened species. In 2023, Japan’s Ministry of the Environment certified the area as a “Nature Symbiosis Site.”
Through the Mori no Ichi event, the organisers aim to provide an experience that allows people to connect deeply with nature in the city centre. The ultimate goal is to help visitors cultivate an “inner forest” in their minds, fostering a greater appreciation for the harmony between urban life and the natural world.
