Gōon offers an environmentally friendly accommodation that achieves carbon neutrality.
Eco-friendly private villa
Gōon is a secluded, private villa nestled in the mountains, located approximately 20 minutes by car from Otsuki Interchange in Yamanashi Prefecture. It utilizes self-generated electricity from solar panels and incorporates environmentally friendly considerations throughout the facility, such as providing amenities made from sustainable materials.Carbon-neutral sauna with optimal humidity control
In each villa, an authentic sauna, produced by Miki Sasano, the daughter of the renowned “Sauna Shikiji” (a sacred sauna spot), is installed. It is equipped with an original development, the “steam generator,” which ensures meticulous humidity control within the room, allowing for an optimal humidity level to be maintained.
Moreover, the sauna stove, which utilizes firewood, is equipped with a two-layered sauna stone that can retain heat for an extended period. Through the large windows, guests can enjoy the ever-changing scenery of each season, enhancing the overall comfort and tranquility of the sauna experience.
Refreshing water bath: Utilizing natural spring water
Outside the sauna room, a spacious water bath is available for two people to relax in. The water used in the bath is sourced from the natural springs of Mount Fuji, drawn from a depth of 25 meters underground. This natural spring water is remarkably pure and has a gentle, soft texture, making it suitable for drinking as well. Immerse yourself in this natural blessing and experience it fully throughout your body.Grill & chill: Eco-friendly BBQ
For dinner, Gōon offers a BBQ experience where you can put your own spin on it while also reducing food waste. Enjoy an eco-friendly BBQ that allows you to savor local ingredients. Why not spend a special dinner time in a glamping atmosphere, considering the environment and indulging in a unique experience?Making a difference with your accommodation
Staying at an environmentally friendly accommodation not only provides a comfortable experience but also serves as a catalyst for creating a slightly better future. While enjoying the extraordinary ambiance of your travel destination, we invite you to indulge in moments that contribute to sustainable tourism.
