Asahi Brewery will install 1,008 solar panels on the roof of their warehouse in Nagoya, which is expected to reduce carbon emissions by 287 tons annually. While it already has solar power generators in its Fukuoka and Ibaraki factories, this time Asahi will install it through the PPA (Power Purchase Agreement) model, where they don’t pay for the equipment installation, but on the power generated. They are considering installing more generators at other factories through this model too.
