Disused backpack donation till 31 Mar in Shinjuku

Incase has begun its second Charity Project, which will run until 31 March. This initiative aims to reuse unwanted bags for disaster relief and promote the lifecycle of products after use. The collected bags are sold with the cooperation of the nonprofit organization Peace Winds Japan, and the proceeds are used for disaster relief.

The items that can be donated are backpacks. In the previous campaign which started in the summer of 2022, only Incase items were accepted. However, this time backpacks from any brand are eligible for donation, making it possible for more people to participate. Those who contribute donations will receive a 10% discount on all items in the Incase Shinjuku store.

The overview of the Incase Charity Project is to bring unwanted backpacks to the Incase Shinjuku store (Google Map) and donate them, in return for a 10% discount on all items in the store. The donated bags will be used for disaster relief through NGO partner cooperation.

The items that can be donated are unwanted backpacks (regardless of the manufacturer), limited to one item per person per donation. On the day of donation, all Incase products in-store will be available for purchase at a 10% discount.

The proceeds will be used for disaster relief through cooperation with the nonprofit organization Peace Winds Japan.
